BRIEF

This 1980s kitchen needed a major renovation. We replaced the dated design with a rustic chic look for this busy family of four. We started with complete demolition of the old kitchen, and worked extensively with the cabinet company and homeowners to design the cabinetry to suit their cooking and storage needs.

We removed the old dropped ceiling and opened the space up with a larger window at the sink. New recessed lights and pendant fixtures were added. The main counter tops were made from hand picked quartzite slabs, and the wood counter at the raised bar was constructed from reclaimed wood. Our team selected each piece of reclaimed barn wood to clad the front of the breakfast bar adding texture and charm.

The low maintenance floors are done in tile resembling wood. We freshened up the walls with a hand troweled texture and lovely light mint paint color, then we brought in a gorgeous dining table and installed custom window treatments to finish the space. The homeowners wasted no time inviting their friends and family over to show off their new kitchen. It was a huge success.
