BRIEF
This traditional home was updated to create a rich look for this retired couple who love to entertain.
We brought in modern elements to mix with the classic structure of the spaces. The homeowners were tired of the white paneled wall in the family room, so we gave it a makeover with a deep grey. The original sand colored mantle was refinished in a crisp white, and the outdated tile surround was replaced with edgy stainless steel brick tile. The furniture, light fixtures and accessories were replaced to reflect the client’s desire for a transitional look.
The kitchen cabinets were refinished and the back splash was replaced with high-end handmade tile. A beautiful exotic quartzite was added to the center island along with gorgeous mercury glass sconces. The end result was exactly what these homeowners were hoping for.
